2025 Year In Review
A Year of Gratitude and Growth Across Our Network
As we close out 2025, I want to express my sincere gratitude to every investigator, site leader, coordinator, research assistant, and support professional across IMA Clinical Research. Your dedication and professionalism have been the driving force behind a year of meaningful progress and growth across the Network.
This year required exceptional perseverance and collaboration to navigate increasingly complex protocols, a series of significant project initiation delays, an evolving regulatory environment, enrollment pressures, industry-wide change in therapeutic interests, and operational challenges. Through close partnership with our sponsors, our sites remained focused, resilient, committed, and aligned in moving studies forward.
I am especially proud of the growth and advancement in our Network during 2025 marked by important milestones and broad industry recognition, including:
- We expanded our national footprint through the acquisition of Medical Research Network (MRN) in New York, (IMA NYC- Uptown) extending our therapeutic reach and capabilities in CNS research and increasing patients’ access to trials in a critical metropolitan market.
- We further strengthened our expertise with the acquisition of Chicago Research Center, (IMA Chicago/CRC) adding specialized CNS and sleep research capabilities, including dedicated sleep lab infrastructure to support complex studies.
- Our sites were consistently recognized for quality, compliance, rapid enrollment and patient retention across multiple therapeutic areas including obesity, MASH, and various CNS indications.
- Notably, our work in vaccine and infectious disease research was also recognized through nomination as a finalist for Best Clinical Trial Network at the 2025 Vaccine Industry Excellence (ViE) Awards—a reflection of the consistency and quality of execution across our sites and acknowledgement by an external organization.
- We were honored to be selected as a finalist for the 2025 Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) Excellence in Patient Centricity Award! This is the third year in a row that IMA was selected as a finalist demonstrating that we have elevated patient centricity from a concept to a culture of care that empowers patients to make informed choices about their healthcare.
- Outstandingly, San Antonio Site Director, Tiffany Harden, EMT-P, CCRC was selected out of a pool of 226 as 2025 Gold Winner in the PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year – The Americas. This is the second year in a row that IMA staff members have achieved this level of recognition. Well done!
- Our organization was a founding member of the Association of Multisite Research Corporations (AMRC), reinforcing our leadership role in advancing the multisite research model and strengthening collaboration, standardization, and quality across the industry.
Together, these milestones represent more than growth in size, they reflect growth in capability, therapeutic depth, and operational excellence at all levels in the Network. Each new site, team member, and infrastructure investment strengthens our ability to support sponsors, advance innovative medicines, and serve patients who rely on clinical research as a pathway to care.
At the core of everything we do remains an unwavering commitment to patient safety and data quality. Your vigilance in protecting research participants and your dedication to generating accurate, reliable, audit-ready data ensures the integrity of every study and reinforces the trust placed in our network.
As I look ahead to 2026 with you, I do so with confidence, knowing that our collective expertise, expanding footprint, and shared commitment to quality position us for continued success in the coming year.
Thank you all for your resilience, your collaboration, and your role in advancing clinical research and the future of medicine. Together we make a difference for patients in need!
With appreciation,
Mark Weinberger, PhD, MPH
